Joey Ortiz
I am a resident of downtown Lake Worth, originally from Brooklyn N.Y.
I am a late bloomer in life for filling my natural passion for the practice of massage therapy.
I have been in the Beauty, Health, and travel industry from 1993 to 1999. From the fall of 1999 to 2007, my life was spa management (Bliss Spa N.Y. and PGA National resort & Spa). Facilitating a stress free environment and tailoring every clients needs to have a positive Spa experience became second nature to me. In 2005, my passion for massage therapy became evident to me. I maintained a positive outlook on my life and made preparations to prioritize my goals (5yr plan):
Healthy life style, Career Plan for my passion, Love, Purchase a Home in South Florida.
In 2009 we purchased our 1st home in downtown Lake Worth. I was blessed with the support of my partner, family, friends, and employer (Sephora) of whom I could not have achieved my MT LICENSE in December of 2010 at Palm Beach Academy of health & beauty.
My scope of practice: Swedish, Deep Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sciatic Treatment.
My touch is firm, fluid, and with thorough follow through. I listen to my clients needs and tailor the time to target their specific concerns before the session. At the end of the day it is about providing what my clients need to encourage relief of their discomforts. In July of 2011 I completed a course in traditional Thai massage. The teachings of the stretching techniques and energy lines have been an amazing contribution to my skill.
I am honored to have the opportunity to work along side such a talented group of individuals at Quartell Chiropractic. I look forward to the privilege of working on the present and future Quartell Chiropractic clientele.
Namaste.
